The Mayor of Yerevan handed Vladilen Balyan the title of honorary citizen of Yerevan
The Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan was hosted at the house of the composer, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Vladilen Balyan, and handed him the title of honorary citizen of Yerevan and the commemorative medal, press office of the municipality reports.
By the decision of the Council of Elders, the title was awarded to the prominent composer in 2020. In the spring, however, due to the epidemic situation, the meeting was postponed.
Congratulating and emphasizing the composer's significant contribution to the development of Armenian music and the cultural life of the capital, Hayk Marutyan wished him good health.
During the warm conversation, Vladilen Balyan thanked for the appreciation, wished creative energy and optimism to the current generation of the city in various spheres.
