The event entitled "JOIN, let's become a SONG, let's become a PULSE" took place on October 14, at 5:00 pm, in front of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. The musical event was implemented on the initiative of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory with the support of the National Chamber Music Center, the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography.
The symphony orchestra of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory (artistic director and conductor Natali Galstyan), the choir (conductor Gayane Sahakyan) and musicians from Gyumri performed during the event.
"All these songs had been giving strength to our soldiers, and today we need to perform that. Our musicians today play the role of assistants because we have to sing together," said Natalie Galstyan, whose son is at the frontline today. She stays strong and she takes upon herself the responsibility to support everyone because song and fear are incompatible with each other.
Booklets with song lyrics were distributed to those present so that everyone could become a part of the same call.
Culture has never ceased to exist during wars. Moreover, it has always been an encouraging force for everyone. The musicians were especially active. It is not by chance that during the wars world music masterpieces were often written, as well as many patriotic songs, with the help of which the soldiers performed feats, faced many difficulties and hardships. Such war songs will be sung at this event, girding the people standing behind the soldier.
