A. Spendiaryan House-Museum celebrates its 55th anniversary
On December 9, a ceremony dedicated to the fifty-fifth anniversary of the A. Spendiaryan House Museum was held in the hall of the Museum. Representatives of partner institutions, public figures and friends of the Museum, and former employees attended the event. In the opening speech, the director of the House Museum, Marine Otaryan, congratulated the guests on the anniversary of the opening of the first music memorial museum in Yerevan and emphasized the role of the employees in establishing this important cultural center. The temporary exhibition entitled "The history of the 55-year-old museum in a mosaic of photos" was presented during the event. Professors of Yerevan Komitas Conservatory Armen Budaghyan and Davit Ghazaryan, Director of RA NAS Art Institute Anna Asatryan, People's Artist of RA Valmar, Director of Martiros Saryan House-Museum Ruzan Saryan, composer Robert Amirkhanyan made speeches appreciating the role of the House-Museum in popularizing A. Spendiaryan's heritage. Amirkhanyan. The film "55 frames from the 55-year-old museum" presenting the history of the house museum by Inessa Khachatryan, a museum researcher, was screened.
