PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1. Who we are and how to reach us
1. "ANM" CJSC (hereinafter the "Company", "we"), a legal entity registered in the Republic of Armenia, operates the website www.anmmedia.am (the "Website") and decides why and how the personal data described in this Policy is processed.
2. This Privacy Policy explains, for each category of data we collect, what we collect, why we process it, and on what legal basis. It forms part of the Terms of Use published on this page.
3. For any question about this Policy or about your data, write to [email protected]. To have your data deleted, write to [email protected] (see section 9).
2. What we collect and the purposes for which we process it
1. Account data — your first name, last name, e-mail address, profile picture, and an encrypted (hashed) password if you registered with one. We process it for the following purposes: to create and maintain your user account; to authenticate you when you sign in and keep you signed in during your visit; to let you reset a forgotten password; to give you access to the materials you have purchased; and to contact you about your account, your orders or important changes to the service. Legal basis: performance of the contract between you and the Company (the Terms of Use).
2. Facebook Login data — if you choose to sign in with Facebook, Meta sends us only four items: your Facebook user ID, your e-mail address, your first name and your last name. We process them for one purpose only: to create your ANM account and to recognise you each time you sign in afterwards, so that you do not need to keep a separate password with us. We do not post anything to Facebook on your behalf; we do not access your friends, timeline, photos, groups or any other Facebook data; and we do not use this data for advertising, remarketing or profiling of any kind. Legal basis: your consent, given when you approve the Facebook permission dialog, together with performance of the contract.
3. Purchase data — the sheet music you ordered, the price, the currency, any promo code applied, the status of the payment, the payment reference returned by the bank, and the amount and tax actually charged. We process it for the following purposes: to complete your order; to grant and preserve your permanent access to the score you purchased; to issue confirmations and receipts; to handle refund requests within the 14-day period stated in the Terms of Use; and to comply with the accounting and tax obligations imposed on us by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia. Legal basis: performance of the contract and compliance with our legal obligations.
4. Donation data — the donor's name and e-mail address, the amount, the currency and whether the donation is one-off or recurring. We process it in order to carry out the donation, to send you a confirmation and receipt, and to keep the accounting records required by law. Legal basis: performance of the contract and compliance with our legal obligations.
5. Saved items — the scores you add to your favourites. We process this solely to display your personal list of saved scores when you return to the Website. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
6. Messages you send us — the name, e-mail address, message text and any file you attach when you use the contact form or write to us directly. We process them in order to answer your enquiry, to provide support, and to keep a record of the request and of our response. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to and documenting enquiries addressed to us.
7. Technical and usage data — a session identifier stored in a cookie, your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, and the page that referred you. We process this data for the following purposes: to keep your session active and secure; to detect, investigate and prevent errors, abuse and unauthorised access; and to understand, in aggregate and without identifying you personally, which parts of the Website are used, so that we can improve them. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the Website and, as regards analytics, your consent.
3. Payments — we never see your card details
1. Card payments on the Website are processed by "Ameriabank" CJSC through its VPOS payment gateway. Your card number, expiry date and security code are entered on the bank's own secure page and never on ours. The Company does not receive, does not see and does not store your full card number.
2. From the bank we receive only the outcome of the transaction — whether it succeeded or failed, the amount, the currency and the bank's payment reference. We process this strictly in order to confirm your order, grant you access to the purchased material, and keep the accounting record of the transaction.
4. Cookies and analytics
1. Strictly necessary cookies. We set a session cookie that identifies your signed-in session. Its only purpose is to keep you signed in and to protect the session against misuse. The Website cannot provide accounts or purchases without it.
2. Analytics. On the anmmedia.am domain we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement identifier G-ZF85SL0PCX). Its purpose is to give us aggregate statistics — how many people visit, which pages and scores are opened most, which language and approximate country visitors come from — so that we can decide what to publish and what to improve. We do not use analytics for advertising, do not build advertising profiles, and do not sell or share this data for marketing purposes.
3. You may block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block the strictly necessary cookie, signing in and purchasing will not work.
5. Who we share data with
1. The Company does not sell your personal data and does not disclose it for anyone else's marketing.
2. We use the following service providers, each of which processes data only on our instructions and only for the purpose indicated: "Ameriabank" CJSC (Armenia) — processing of card payments; Resend — delivery of transactional e-mail such as confirmations, receipts and password resets; Google — website analytics as described in section 4; Meta Platforms — only where you yourself choose to sign in with Facebook; Amazon Web Services — storage of files, images, audio and sheet music; Sentry — collection of technical error reports; our hosting provider — operation of the servers; and Telegram, which we use to alert our own team about new orders and incoming messages and which therefore may receive the order or message details.
3. We may disclose data to state bodies where we are obliged to do so by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Some of the providers listed above process data outside the Republic of Armenia, including in the European Union and the United States. Where that is the case we rely on the standard contractual safeguards offered by those providers.
6. How long we keep your data
1. Account data — for as long as your account exists, and until you ask us to delete it.
2. Purchase and donation records — for the period required by the accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Armenia, which is currently five years from the end of the relevant reporting year. These records are kept even after an account is deleted, because we are legally obliged to keep them.
3. Messages sent through the contact form — for up to two years after the enquiry is closed.
4. Analytics data — for the retention period set in Google Analytics, currently fourteen months.
5. Session cookies — until they expire or until you sign out.
7. Your rights
1. You have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy of it; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have your data deleted; to object to processing that is based on our legitimate interest; to withdraw a consent you have given, including the consent given through Facebook Login, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal; and to receive the data you provided to us in a commonly used electronic format.
2. To exercise any of these rights write to [email protected] from the e-mail address registered in your account. We will respond within thirty days.
3. If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
8. Security
1. The Website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Passwords are never stored in readable form — only as a cryptographic hash. Access to the administration interface and to the database is restricted to authorised staff of the Company.
2. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; we do, however, apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold.
9. Deleting your account and your data
1. To delete your data and your account, send an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data", stating the e-mail address registered on the Website. You may, but need not, tell us the reason.
2. We will delete your account and your personal data within thirty days of receiving the request. Purchase and donation records will be retained for the period described in section 6.2, because the legislation of the Republic of Armenia obliges us to keep them; after that period they are deleted as well. Once the account is deleted, access to previously purchased scores is lost.
3. If you signed in with Facebook, you can additionally remove ANM's access at any time in your Facebook account under Settings → Apps and Websites. Doing so stops any further exchange of data with Facebook, but does not by itself delete the account you already hold with us — for that, send the request described above.
10. Children
1. The Website and its services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, write to [email protected] and we will take the necessary action.
11. Changes to this Policy
1. We may update this Privacy Policy. The date of the most recent change is shown at the top of the Policy. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will notify registered users by e-mail before it takes effect.
12. Contact
