Composer Anushavan Ter-Ghevondyan's memory about Alexander Spendiaryan:

“Spendiaryan was beloved and respected by all not only for being a wonderful musician and great composer but a very sensitive and empathetic person. Once on the concert poster, his last name was printed in smaller letters than the names of others. It was the kicks of the printing house. When Spendiaryan was informed about it and some of the participants of the concert wanted to apologize, the composer interrupted them and said: “It doesn’t matter in what type of letters our last names are printed on the concert posters and newspapers. People must appreciate one’s dignity for his works”.
