Suren Bagratuni to open Varna Summer International Music Festival
Famous Armenian cellist Suren Bagratuni will open the Varna Summer International Music Festival. As it is mentioned on the festival website, it will be solemnly opened at Varna Open Air Theatre.
The opening ceremony will be performed by the Varna State Opera Orchestra and RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Rossen Milanov. Suren Bagratuni together with violinist Tomo Keller will perform Concerto for violin, violoncello and orchestra by J. Brahms. Besides, Rimsky-Korsakov's "Sheherazade" and P. Vladigerov's Vardar Rhapsodywill be played within the concert.
The festival will last for several months and will bring together international and local artists and music collectives.
