Migran Agadzhanyan leads Perm Opera
Migran Agadzhanyan has been appointed a principal conductor and musical director of the Perm Opera.

Conductor, singer and pianist Migran Agadzhanyan is one of the most gifted musicians of the younger generation. In 2016 he graduated from the St. Peterburg N.  Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory the class of opera and symphony conducting with Vladimir Altshuler and in the piano class with Vladimir Mishchuk.

In 2012, Agadzhanyan founded the St. Petersburg Youth Symphony Orchestra and actively tours the cities of Russia and Europe. As a conductor, he constantly collaborates with the Mariinsky Theatre. In January 2022, Mihran Agadzhanyan made a successful debut at the Perm Opera in the performance "La bohème" by Giacomo Puccini.

As a singer, Agadzhanyan took a course at the opera studio of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he studied with Renata Scotto and Giuseppe Sabbatini. Since 2017 he has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre, in 2018 he became a laureate of the Operalia International Opera Competition, in 2019 - laureate International Tchaikovsky Competition. As a singer, he performed at the Metropolitan Opera (New York), the Royal Theater Covent Garden (London), the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Lyon Opera, the Los Angeles Opera, and others.
