The "Traditional Armenian Instruments Training Training" program has been completed
The 3rd stage summary of the "Armenian traditional musical instrument preparation training" program, which was approved in the 2022 grant competition under the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Preservation Programs" category of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.
Since 2019, two stages of the program have been implemented on the initiative of the "Cultural Education Support" Foundation, during which participants mastered the skills of making individual parts of folk instruments, then combining, shaping, finishing, and adjusting the sound.
The 10 students involved in the project made musical instruments: 2 kanon, 2 kamanchas, and 2 duduks.
Mikhail and Sergey Sadoev, master instrument makers, taught the program's participants how to make traditional Armenian instruments. The courses were held in workshops led by masters.
It should be noted that the main goal of the program is to teach the basic skills of making Armenian wind and string instruments to the students of folk instruments classes in music schools through the transfer of many years of experience and knowledge accumulated by recognized masters.
