The Debut of "Avetis" quartet
The "Avetis" string quartet's debut concert will be held on March 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Komitas Chamber Music House. Before playing under the name "Avetis," all four musicians participated in various musical activities in Armenia and abroad for several years. The group members' purpose is to construct a string quartet that satisfies high international standards and best represents numerous pieces composed for the aforementioned genre, which are now infrequently performed on Armenian stages.
Three musicians- violinist Carmen Tosunyan, violist Hayk Ter-Hovhannisyan, and cellist Mikayel Navasardyan are playing in Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Violinist Anush Nikoghosyan's rich biography and prolific concert activity contribute to the string quartet's active participation in international festivals and performances on prestigious music platforms.
