Specialists from 8 countries to participate in "Aram Khachatryan - 120" conference
On September 12-14, the RA National Academy of Sciences will host an international conference entitled "Aram Khachatryan - 120".

The conference is initiated by the Art Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, together with the Aram Khachatryan House-Museum and the   Composers Union of Armenia, with the co-financing of the Higher Education and Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia. The purpose if the conference is to present the current state of Khachatryan studies, to examine the creative, performing and musical-social activities of the prominent Armenian composer, and to value the legacy he left behind.

Internationally renowned leading scientists and young researchers from 8 countries (Armenia, Russia, USA, Ukraine, Latvia, Netherlands, Sweden, Lebanon) will participate in the conference.

Within the framework of the conference, an exhibition presenting the achievements of Khachaturian's legacy studies will be organized in the foyer of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, and in the house-museum of Aram Khachaturian, the exhibition "Forever Grateful to Aram" will be presented, during which the materials stored in the museum-apartment of E. Gnesina (Moscow) will be presented.
