Krzysztof Penderecki will be laid to rest on March 29, the second anniversary of his death
The famous composer Krzysztof Penderecki will be laid to rest in a state ceremony on March 29, the second anniversary of his death, Radio Poland reports. After the composer’s death, an urn containing his ashes was temporarily deposited in St. Florian's Church in Kraków. The state funeral was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The March 29 ceremony will begin with a private mass at St. Florian’s Church. 

Let us remind you, that Polish composer of Armenian descent Krzysztof Penderecki visited Armenia for the first time in 2008 at the invitation of "Yerevan Perspectives" international music festival. Totally, the festival organized "Penderecki days in Armenia" four times (2008, 2009, 2013, 2016.). Armenian delegation will also participate in the official ceremony.
