Vahagn Stamboltsyan International Organ Music Festival's gala concert to be held on November 6
Vahagn Stamboltsyan International Organ Music Festival is being held from September 26 to November 6 in Armenia with the support of the RA Ministry of Education and Culture and the initiative of the National Chamber Music Center.

The festival's gala concert will take place on November 6 at the Komitas House of Chamber Music.

 Organists Armen Aghajanyan, Lusine Harutyunyan, Lusin Sarajyan, Anna Bakunts, Konstantin Volostnov (Russia), Harutyun Tagvoryan and the ancient music ensemble "Tagharan" (artistic director and conductor: Sedrak Yerkanyan) will perform during the concert. G. will sound. F. Handel's six organ concertos, op 4.   

During the festival, 12 concert programs were held in Yerevan, Kapan and Charentsavan. Internationally renowned organists  Fabio Machera (Italy), Evgeny Avramenko (Russia), Jean-Pierre Stivers (Netherlands), Lada Labzina (Russia), and Emmanuel Arakelyan (France) will perform at the festival. They also held master classes.

The Armenian organ school was represented by Anna Bakunts, Karine Hovhannisyan, Harutyun Tagvoryan, Tereza  Vօskanyan, Hovhannes Manukyan, Armen Aghajanyan, Davit Hovhannisyan, Lusin Sarajyan, Lusine Harutyunyan, Vahagn Margaryan and Marina Nahapetyan. Both classical works, organ arrangements of Armenian musical gems, and organ works by Armenian composers will be played. The festival program also includes concerts dedicated to Komitas and Mikael Tariverdiev.
