Mary Sharbatyan awarded second prize at Chopin International Piano Competition
Armenian pianist Mery Sharbatian awarded second prize at XII Chopin International Piano Competition held in Hartford, USA. This year the competition held online. Representative of Armenia participated in the "Young Artist" category. Adrian Zaragoza from the USA awarded Grand Prix, Roman Sosnin from Russia became the First prize winner of the same category.
The jury was headed by Krystian Tkaczewski, and Armen Babakhanian, Yuri Bogdanov, Yunjie Chen, Ian Goh, Phillip Kawin, Kanji Kozuta, Jong Hwa Park and Poom Prommachart were among the jury.
