Mariinsky Theater to celebrate Gegham Grigoryan's 70th anniversary
P. Tchaikovsky's opera "The Queen of Spades" will be presented on the stage of "Mariinsky 2" of the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg on January 28. According to the theater's website, the play will be dedicated to the memory of famous Armenian opera singer, tenor Gegham Grigoryan. The theater orchestra will be conducted by Valeri Gergiev, starring Gegham Grigoryan's daughter Asmik Grigoryan.

This year on January 29, Gegham Grigoryan would have turned 70 years old.
