A presentation of a monograph dedicated to Tigran Mansuryan took place on his birthday
Tigran Mansuryan, the great Armenian composer and People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia, was born on January 27, 86 years ago. On this day, the monograph "Tigran Mansuryan" was presented at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, and Maestro Mansuryan attended the event.

Daniel Danielyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, and Yuri Suvaryan, Academician of the Department of Armenian Studies and Social Sciences at the NAS, gave welcome messages. The Deputy Minister greeted the Maestro on his anniversary, wishing him good health, prosperity, and many more years of creativity and fruitfulness.  

Daniel Danielyan expressed his gratitude to Anna Arevshatyan, a leading researcher at the Music Department of the NAS Institute of Arts, a member of the Board of the Composers' Union of Armenia, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Doctor of Arts, Professor, for the award of the "Tigran Mansuryan" for the creation of the monograph, which is an important and meaningful gift to the public: "The publication of each book is a great wealth, an important step in the rep Such works allow us to deeply recognize our legends, their works, and heritage, which are directed at our youth and future generations. Reading the "Tigran Mansuryan" monograph gave me much pleasure. It provides a detailed overview of the Maestro's creative life and activities. The author refers to him as a musician, thinker, aesthete, and artist. The work is the first scientific study dedicated to the study of Tigran Mansuryan's creative work, in which the author examined the composer's multi-genre work, his relationship to twentieth-century world music, his collaboration with several prominent musicians-performers, and the composer's aesthetic views."

The monograph "Tigran Mansuryan" was published by the "Science" Publishing House of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. The work is edited by Doctor of Arts Levon Hakobyan (Moscow), and the reviewers are Doctor of Arts, Professor Anna Asatryan and Doctor of Arts, Professor Mher Navoyan.
