“A Poet’s Love” by Robert Schumann to be presented at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall
A concert entitled "A Poet's Love" will be presented on December 22 at 7 p.m. in Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall. The program includes rarely performed the song series Dichterliebe or “A Poet’s Love” by Robert Schumann, based on the poem by Heinrich Heine, Impromptu No. 17 by Clara Schumann, as well as compositions by Aleksander Spendiaryan, Romanos Melikyan, and Nikol Galanteryan. Soloist: Asatur Baljyan (Baritone) Concertmaster: Katharine Hovsepyan.
Asatur Baljyan is the RA President Prize Laureate in 2008. In 2012 he was recognized as the winner of the Annual Wittenberg Music Games (Germany). He took master classes in Switzerland, Israel, Armenia and other countries. He was a soloist of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Choir and National Opera Theater.
