It is a jubilee year for two state dance ensembles of Armenia
The year is a jubilee year for Armenia's two state ensembles, and concerts will be held in Yerevan and other regions to mark the anniversaries of the two ensembles. The State Dance Ensemble, in particular, is celebrating its 65th anniversary, while the Tatul Altunyan State Dance Ensemble is celebrating its 85th anniversary.

The State Dance Ensemble will celebrate its 65th anniversary on September 8 at 7:00 p.m. in Gyumri's Vardan Achemyan State Drama Theater, with both familiar and new performances. Dances that had been out of the group's repertoire for a long time were reintroduced for the spectacular show. A new film about the State Dance Ensemble will also be screened.

On September 9, at 7:00 p.m., a concert commemorating Altunyan's ensemble's 85th anniversary will take place in Vanadzor's Charles Aznavour Palace of Culture. The event will also feature both old and modern plays. A new film about the cast will also be presented.

The jubilee gala concert will take place at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet on September 24 at 7:00 p.m. That day, both ensembles will perform on the same stage.

The events are organized by the Zark Folk Music and Dance Support Fund with the support of the National Folk Music and Dance Center and the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.
