Biography
Hmayak Durgaryan was born in 1942, Leninakan (Gyumri). He studied violin ատ Leninakan Art School after Nikoghayos Tigranyan and at Leninakan Music College. In 1967 he graduated from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
From 1962-1969 he was a soloist of the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, from 1982-1984 - a soloist of the "Moscow Virtuosos" chamber ensemble, from 1972-1982 - a violinist of the USSR State Symphony Orchestra.
He participated in international music festivals in St. Petersburg, France, and Spain (2003). Hmayak Durgaryan gave master classes in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
