Biography
Was born in 1986 in Yerevan. From 1993-2003 she studied at Tchaykovski Music School in Yerevan. From 2003-2008 she studied at the Yerevan State Conservatory at the department of string instruments, in the class of prof. A. Kosemyan. In 2012-2015 she studies at Yerevan State Conservatory in the department of composition (class of prof. M. Kokzhayev). From 2005-2018 Mary Dolmazyan played in the Youth State Orchestra of Armenia. Since 2018 she is an artist for Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2011 she participated in festivals and master classes in England (West Dean College international summer school, Lake District Summer Music International Festival, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival). She took some master classes with Kim Kashkashian, Diemut Poppen, Levon Chilingirian and «Chilingirian» string quartet, «Kuss» string quartet, Simon Rowland-Jones, Garfield Jackson and others. She performed many times in Armenia and abroad as well as a soloist and a chamber music artist.
As a composer, she took master-classes also with composers Frank Yeznikian, Claude Ledoux, Aram Hovhannisyan and Arman Ghushchyan. In 2018 she participated in the international festival «Crossroads 2018, contemporary music days in Armenia» organized by «Quarter Tone».
