Nameplate of Aram Gharabekian to be opened at the entrance to his house.
The opening ceremony of the nameplate of Aram Gharabekian, the legendary conductor, former artistic director of the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, and honored public figure, will take place on October 7, at 4:30 p.m., at 5 Spendiaryan Street. Gharabekyan's family has decided to install the maestro's nameplate at the entrance to his house.
It's been ten years since the maestro passed away. Throughout his 58-year life, he lived and created in different parts of the world, but he always considered Yerevan to be his home, and his most valued work was leading the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia.
