Young Armenian Musicians Perform at Geneva Conservatory's 190th Anniversary Celebrations
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the Symphony Orchestra of the P. Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School participated in the jubilee celebrations marking the 190th anniversary of the Geneva Conservatory in June.
As part of the anniversary program, the school's chamber ensemble performed at the Geneva Conservatory Concert Hall, presenting a special program featuring works by renowned Armenian composers.
The gala concert of the anniversary celebrations took place at Geneva's renowned Victoria Hall. The performance of the young Armenian musicians at one of Europe's most prestigious concert venues became a landmark event not only for the school but also for Armenia's cultural life.
The concert featured the school's alumna, internationally acclaimed violinist and laureate of numerous international competitions, Diana Adamyan, as the soloist. She performed Aram Khachaturian's Violin Concerto, as well as excerpts from the ballets Gayane, Spartacus, and the suite Masquerade.
This exceptional invitation represents a significant achievement for the school and for Armenian music education as a whole, reaffirming the institution's outstanding reputation and the strong foundations of its international cultural cooperation.
