A new ballet floor has been purchased for the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. The National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. Spendiaryan received approximately 80 million drams in state funding from the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports to purchase ballet rehearsal rooms and a new stage floor covering that meets international standards.

RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Daniel Danielyan paid a visit to the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, where he took a tour and watched ballet dancers rehearse on a new floor.

According to the deputy minister, the state's allocation of funds is motivated by the need to ensure the sector's strategic programs are implemented. "Having a professional ballet floor will help to ensure the ballet troupe's regular activity, implement new performances and programs in the field of national, classical dance, and preserve and develop the national traditions of opera and ballet." The state uses all available resources to assure the excellent quality of opera and ballet theater performances. The supply of new infrastructure is critical for improving the presentation of our ballet productions overseas, as well as the smooth and high-level performance of international touring artists and ballet companies.
