Arno Babajanyan 105: Paying Tribute to the Great Composer’s Memory
January 22 marks the 105th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Armenian composer, pianist, People’s Artist of the USSR, and laureate of state awards, Arno Babajanyan.
On the occasion of the jubilee, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Daniel Danielyan, Director of the Armenian State Philharmonia Artyom Naghdyan, Director of the Arno Babajanyan Cultural Foundation Samvel Mesropyan, Director of the Yerevan Arno Babajanyan State Musical-Pedagogical College Artyom Harutyunyan, along with the college’s students, as well as a group of artists, laid flowers at the composer’s monument to the accompaniment of Babajanyan’s music.
Afterwards, Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan, together with representatives of the cultural sector, visited the Yerevan City Pantheon and paid tribute to the memory of Arno Babajanyan.
