"Alexander Spendiaryan-150". Events and Concert in Gyumri
Alexander Spendiaryan House-Museum invites art lovers to Gyumri on September 4-5 within the "Alexander Spendiaryan-150" music festival.
On September 4, at 3:00 p.m., a lecture entitled "Spendiaryan in Armenia" will take place in the small hall of the Gyumri branch of the Yerevan State Conservatory. The speakers are Marine Otaryan, director of the Spendiaryan House-Museum, Hasmik Harutyunyan, director of the Gyumri branch of the Yerevan State Conservatory. Within the meeting, screening of the video "Fulfilled Dream" by I. Khachatryan and T. Tananyan, scientists of Spendiaryan House-Museum, followed by a concert with the participation of YKSC students to be held in the same place.
On September 5, at 8:00, an open-air concert will take place in the yard of the Gyumri Museum of Folk Architecture and Urban Life. Famous pianists, People's Artist of the Armenian SSR Svetlana Navasardyan, RA Honored Artist Hayk Melikyan, opera singers, RA People's Artist Barsegh Tumanyan, RA Honored Artist Magda Mkrtchyan, Komitas State String Quartet, members of the "Start" talent development program Artyom Ionisyan, Arthur Grigoryan, Elen Khachikyan, Andrey Kurbet, Polina Sharafyan, Davit Babayan will perform Spendiaryan's chamber works.
The festival is organized with the support of the RA Ministry of ESCS, on the initiative of A. Spendiaryan House-Museum. The partner of the festival is "Formica Art Production", -producer-Shahen Nazarenko.
