Pianist Ani Arushanyan is the President of the WPTA Representation in Armenia
Pianist Ani Arushanyan has been appointed President of the Armenian branch of the World Piano Teachers Association (WPTA).
The WPTA is the most comprehensive piano arts association in the world. It was founded in 2007 on the initiative of Professor Dorian Leljak. The association has offices in a number of countries, which are chaired by world-famous musicians. The World Association of Piano Teachers is 15 years old, and WPTA ARMENIA has been operating for several months. It is led by a pianist, Ph.D. in arts Ani Arushanyan.
"We are just starting our work, but there are already clear plans with the Italian and Spanish branches to organize master classes with world-famous musicians both in Armenia and in Europe. It is a great stimulating step for today's Armenian pianists," Arushanyan says.
Ani Arushanyan 2007 graduated from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory with a master's degree in music and performing arts. In 2014 she received her Ph.D. in Arts.
Ani Arushanyan has performed as a concert pianist and chamber musician on various stages around the world, including in concert halls in Great Britain, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Greece, Portugal, Iran and other countries.
