Pianist Martin Shahbazyan becomes the Absolute winner of "Harmonium OnlinePlus" IMC
From October 10 to November 26, the Harmonium Music Development Center held the "Harmonium OnlinePlus International Music Competition". The competition was held in the "Piano" անդ "String Instruments" nominations. Each nomination consisted of two stages, including four age groups.
102 young musicians from 31 countries, as well as 25 participants from Armenia, took part in the competition.
Martin Shahbazyan (piano) won the title of the "Absolute winner" - the Grand Prix, David Babayan (violin) - the first prize (beginners category), Artyom Ioannisyan (cello) won the first prize (young artists category), Felix Harutyunyan (violin) - 2nd prize (masters category), and Marie Danielyan (piano) - 3rd prize (juniors category).
The jury members also mentioned pianists Alex Grigoryan, Edgar Mkhitaryan, Svetlana Hakobyan, Marie Sharbatyan, violinist Ovsanna Harutyunyan, who won 4-6 prizes in different categories.
The members of the "Meknark" talent development target program actively participated in the competition, showing brilliant results. In particular, Hayk Julhakyan (piano) won the first prize (beginners category), Elen Khachikyan (piano) - the second (juniors category), Arthur Grigoryan (piano) - the second (young artists category), Andrey Kurbet (piano) ) - 3rd (young artists category), Armen Puchinyan (piano) - 4th (young artists category), Khachik Andreasyan (piano) - 3rd (masters category), Liana Ulikhanyan (cello) - 2nd ( beginners category), Ani Melikyan (violin) 1st (juniors category), Alex Grigoryan (cello) 2nd (juniors category), Polina Sharafyan (violin) 2nd (young artists category), Mikael Karakhanyan (cello ) - 3rd (young artists category), Asya Anisimova (violin) - 4th (young artists category).
The international jury included famous musicians Vladimir Ovchinnikov (Russia), Tamash Ungar (USA), Hayu Zhang (Germany / China), Vache Sharafyan (Armenia), Georg Hamman (Austria), Gabriele Pieranunzi (Italy), O'Alop (Italy), Eduard Topchyan (Armenia). The artistic director of the competition is Armen Babakhanyan (Armenia).
The competition was held with the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
