Baritone Aksel Daveyan - a laureate of Georgian Opera Crown competition
Young opera singer, baritone Aksel Daveyan has been awarded third place at Opera Crown International Competition held in Tbilisi. Totally, 44 opera singers participated in the competition.
Besides A. Daveyan, tenors Tigran Melkonyan and Aramo Mamikonyan from Armenia, as well as soprano anna Knyazyan from Georgia were among the participants.
The winner of the competition is bass Aleksei Kulagin from Russia, Georgian tenor Konstantine Kipiani comes second.
