Composer Andranik Berberyan wins 2 prizes at the Italian festival
Andranik Berberyan won honors at the Golden International Short Film Festival in Italy. Berberyan's music for the globally produced short animated film "Love Photosynthesis", directed by Alisa Zolonts, won two awards: Golden Soundtrack and Overall Award Winner.
"I am pleased to get such awards at the Italian festival. The animated film "Love Photosynthesis" continues its winning campaign in the international festivals, receiving a warm response from audiences worldwide and the jury's acceptance. The collaboration with director Alisa Zolonts was extremely innovative, with no artistic restrictions or limitations. Because the varied characters needed to be personified with music in their way, I harmonized numerous instrumental and timbre combinations, thanks to which we got an interesting musical synthesis. And I highly appreciate the start of our international cooperation," Andranik Berberyan says.
The sound post-production of the film was implemented at Berberyan Production Studios founded by Berberyan.
