Proffesor of Moscow Conservatory Aelxander Mndoyants passed away
After a serious and long illness, musician and teacher Alexander Mndoyants, Honored Artist of Russia, and professor at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, passed away.
Alexander Mndoyants graduated from the Central Music School (CMS) in 1968 and the Moscow Conservatory in 1973.
In 1973-1976 he worked at the Moscow Conservatory as an accompanist.
In 1977 he became a laureate of the V International Van Cliburn Piano Competition in the USA.
He began teaching in 1979 at the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory. Since 1991 he taught at the Moscow Conservatory: first as an assistant, then as an associate professor, and since 2004 as a professor. Among Mndoyants' students are over a hundred international and national competition laureates.
