Levon Malkhasyan awarded ESCS medal
A jubilee concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian jazzman Levon Malkhasyan took place at the "Aram Khachaturian" concert hall.

The concert was attended by the Minister of ESCS Zhanna Andreasyan, the spouse of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Anna Hakobyan, the Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan, and Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan.
Minister Zhanna Andreasyan congratulated the maestro on his 80th birthday and presented him with a  Ministry of ESCS commemorative medal.
"This is the day when, before congratulating the maestro, we should congratulate each other, because we have the opportunity to be present together at the birthday event of an individual who gives color to our city, personifies it, and brings a new culture. Your music gives each of us new energy, enthusiasm and optimism. I wish you creative success, and we - new opportunities to enjoy your presence and concert evenings," Zhanna Andreasyan said.

Jazz musician, and composer Artur Satyan (Lebanon), jazz musician Adam Teratsuyan (Russia), jazzman, pianist Samvel Gasparyan (UAE) were invited to Armenia from abroad as part of the anniversary concert. Other artists and musicians also performed at the concert, including the “Levon Malkhasyan”, “Garik Saribekyan” and “Areg Arustamyan” trios, Martin Vardazaryan, Vahagn Hayrapetyan. The concert evening was held with the participation of the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia (artistic director: David Melkonyan) and the  Orchestra of the Public Radio of Armenia (artistic director: People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Yervand Yerznkyan).
The concert was held under the general patronage of the Yerevan Municipality.
