Armenian Philharmonic starts its European tour
The National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia has begun its 99th concert season. The 16th Yerevan International Music Festival, which started on September 12 until October 30, features several guest soloists and conductors. From September 19 to 23, the National Philharmonic starts its European tour.

The Philharmonic, conducted by Eduard Topchyan, gave the first Bruckner's 200th-anniversary celebrations concert on September 20 in Klagenfurt Musikverein, Austria. The program included Bruckner's 9th Symphony and Dvořák's cello concerto, played by renowned German violinist Daniel Müller-Schott.

The National Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a concert marking the Republic of Armenia's 33rd anniversary of independence on September 22 at Slovakia's Bratislava Music Festival. Stanislav Masaryk, a Slovak trumpeter who has won numerous international contests, will perform Alexander Harutyunyan's trumpet performance, while Eduard Topchyan will conduct Tchaikovsky's "Francesca da Rimini" symphonic fantasy and Sergei Rachmaninov's Symphony No. 2.
