“Philharmonic in the Regions” project kicks off from Charentsavan
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia (Artistic Director and Principal Conductor: Eduard Topchjan) presents the “Philharmonic in the Regions” program.  As part of the orchestra’s 100th anniversary celebrations, the regional tour begins on July 18 in Kotayk region, followed by concerts in Armavir and Ararat regions.
Regional concerts of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia:
- July 18, 2:00 PM, at the A. Khachaturian Music School Organ Hall
- July 18, 7:00 PM, Hrazdan Drama Theater
- July 20, 2:00 PM, Metsamor Culture House
- July 20, 7:00 PM, Vagharshapat Komitas Culture Palace
- July 22, 2:00 PM, Artashat Amo Kharazyan State Drama Theater
- July 22, 7:00 PM, Verin Artashat Village Culture House
The orchestra will perform beloved and well-known works by Armenian composers, including music from Aram Khachaturian's drama "Masquerade," excerpts from the ballet "Gayane," Alexander Spendiaryan's "Yerevan Etudes" (Part 1: "Enzeli"), Grigor Yeghiazaryan's "Fishermen's Dance" from the ballet "Sevan," Edward Mirzoyan's lyrical piece "Shushanik," Alexander Arutyunyan's "Waltz," and other works.
The regional concerts will continue starting in September, with performances planned in Gyumri, Stepanavan, Goris, Sisian, Meghri, Kapan, and other cities and villages.
