“Music in Time of War”:
On June 28, at 7:30 PM, an exclusive concert titled “Music in Time of War” will take place at the “Arno Babajanyan” Concert Hall, featuring the world-famous virtuoso pianist Kirill Gerstein and the renowned soprano Ruzan Mantashyan, a star of contemporary opera.
The program includes Claude Debussy’s Songs, Piano Pieces, Komitas’s 7 Dances, 6 Songs, and Maurice Ravel’s Waltz.
The concert is organized in collaboration with the AUA Center for Ethics in Public Affairs (ETICA), funded by the Horizon Europe ERA Chair Programme.
Following the concert, the Armenian presentation of the “Music in Time of War” CD will be held in the foyer of the “Arno Babajanyan” Concert Hall. The CD features works by Debussy and Komitas, performed by Kirill Gerstein, Katya Skanavi, Thomas Adès, and Ruzan Mantashyan.
