Violinist Robert Stepanyan's album is nominated for Opus Klassik Awards
Nominees have been announced for the prestigious 2021 Opus Klassik Awards․ Violinist Robert Stepanyan with his album "Galaxy" which includes a Violin concerto by the contemporary Austrian composer M. Kendlinger, is nominated in four categories: "World premiere", "Recording of the year", "Classics without borders" and "20 -21 century symphonic recording".   

As Robert Stepanyan told
Armenian National Music, M. Kendlinger's Violin concerto is specially written and dedicated to him. The Composition is recorded with K&K Philharmoniker under the baton of Taras Lenko.

Winners of Opus Klassik will be announced on October 10 at Berlin's Konzerthaus. Opus Klassik is the most prestigious European classical music award. An expert jury, which includes representatives of the music and media industry, will select the winners in 24 nominations. Tenor Andrea Bocelli, cellists Yo-Yo Ma and Gautier Capuçon, violinists Daniel Hope and Lisa Batiashvili, and many others are among the nominees.
