Gala concert of "Arno Babajanyan Songs" International Competition-Festival to be held tomorrow
With the support of the Ministry of ESCS, the Arno Babajanyan State Music Pedagogical College and the "Kamerton" cultural non-governmental organization held an online competition-festival "Arno Babajanyan Songs" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the composer.
The gala concert of the winners and awards ceremony of the Competition-Festival will take place on June 11, 7 p.m. at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall.
69 performers from Armenia, Artsakh, Russia, Lithuania, and Georgia took part in the online event. The participants performed in 3 age groups. Narine Matevosyan (teacher: Anna Musayelyan), a student of the Yerevan Arno Babajanyan State Music Pedagogical College took the Grand Prix of the contest. 7 participants n different age groups took the 1st prize, 15 participants are the 2nd, 12 participants came 3rd. The young performers were also awarded 4th, 5th prizes, and diplomas of participants.
The jury of the competition-festival included RA People's Artists Yervand Yerznkyan, Martin Vardazaryan, Raisa Mkrtchyan, RA Honored Art Workers Armen Hyusnunts and Naira Gyurjinyan, RA Honored Artist Emma Petrosyan.
