Concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour's birth at UNESCO Headquarters
On March 25, a gala concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Charles Aznavour, a world legend of chanson and musical art, will be held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The concert is entitled “Une vie d'amour” (“A life full of love”).
The concert is organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia in collaboration with the Permanent Representation of Armenia to UNESCO and the National Commission of Armenia for UNESCO. The event is held within the framework of the anniversary events approved by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
The rich and unique musical heritage of Charles Aznavour will be presented by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia under the direction of Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Eduard Topchyan. soloists: Inga Arshakyan, Gor Sujyan, Gurgen Baveyan and Jules Grizon.
The concert will feature Charles Aznavour's favorite and well-known songs.
