NCOA to present the Italian Note in Cinema
On December 11, at 7:30 p.m., the "Aram Khachaturian" Concert Hall will host an event entitled "Italian Note in Cinema" (Note Italiane In Cinema). The Armenian State Chamber Orchestra and the Italian Embassy in Armenia implement the project.
Works by Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Giacomo Puccini, Renato Carosone, Tommaso Albinoni, and other well-known Italian authors will performed in the evening.
During the concert, soundtracks from “The Godfather”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Spider-Man”, “The Wolf of Wall Street”, “The Talented Mr. Ripley”, “Once Upon a Time in America” and other famous films will be presented.
The concert will feature the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia (with an expanded lineup), and the Yerevan State Chamber Choir (artistic director and conductor Kristina Voskanyan).
Soloists: Tigran Melkonyan (tenor), Albert Navasardyan (saxophone), Astghik Vardanyan (violin), Vahagn Vardanyan (melodica, ocarina, block flute, electric piano), Vardan Gaboyan (electric guitar). Conductor: Valter Sivilotti (Italy).
The general sponsor of the concert is the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in the Republic of Armenia.
