Events dedicated to A. Babajanyan and A. Spendiaryan to be held in Austria
Series of events dedicated to the Jubilees of the great Armenian composers - 150th birth anniversary of Alexander Spendiaryan and 100th birth anniversary Arno Babajanyan will be held in Vienna from November 5 to November 7, 2021. The first concert will take place on November 5, 19:00 at the hall of the Armenian Apostolic Church Community in Austria. Second concert will take place on November 6, 2021, 19:00 at Antonio Vivaldi Hall.
Internationally acclaimed musicians, string quartet and vocal sextet will take part in the concert. The musical director of the program is the conductor, tenor, pianist Sipan Olah, who already solemnly held a concert-exhibition dedicated to the great composers on October 16, 2021 in London with the participation of the Klingen Chamber Orchestra and Klingen Choir, and famous soloists as well. After the Vienna concert, a lecture will be held on November 7, 2021.
The organizers of the concert are the conductor Sipan Olah and the violist, theorist Gayane Mirzoyan, with the support of Armenian Apostolic Church Community in Austria and Armenian Embassy in Austria.
