"44" and "Voice of Memory"
On November 9, at 7:00 p.m., a concert entitled "44" will take place at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall in honor of the heroes of the 44-day war. The concert will feature the Tagharan ensemble (artistic director, conductor Sedrak Yerkanyan) and cellist Sevak Avanesyan.
44 days of hell, 44 days when the ideas of life and death completely changed. The Artsakh war irreversibly changed the course of our lives, bringing with it insurmountable difficulties and problems. 44 days that changed everything.
World-famous cellist, laureate of many competitions S. Avanesyan took his instrument and arrived in the homeland from abroad to join the defense of the homeland.
The concert entitled "44" will present the world premiere of the composition "Voice of Memory" by Vache Sharafyan, specially written for the ensemble "Tagaran". Sharafyan's "Armenia" will be performed with the participation of "Hover" chamber choir, as well as 2 parts of Suite for cello and orchestra. The evening will also feature L. Bokerini's Concerto No. 7 and "Sasna Dance" (edited by Martin Ulikhanyan).
