«From Me To Aznavour»: Concert dedicated to Aznavour took place in Yerevan
On June 15, at the initiative of the “New Generation Project,” the songs of the legendary chansonnier Charles Aznavour were performed at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. Singer Ghassan Yammine performed at the concert, accompanied by the Popular Symphony Orchestra of the Public Radio (artistic director, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Yervand Yerznkyan). The musical evening provided the audience with unforgettable memories, featuring Aznavour's most beloved songs interpreted by Ghassan Yammine, as reflected in the audience's enthusiastic response and continuous applause. The concert concluded with the song “Pour toi Arménie.”
Singer, pianist, songwriter, and composer Ghassan Yammine has often performed with various orchestras in Europe and has sung Aznavour's songs on numerous stages around the world (France, Italy, Serbia, Jordan) for years. His performances, marked by an incredibly similar voice, have been cherished and continue to captivate the audience. This was already his third performance in Armenia. He is the producer and host of the MTV TV channel's "Musical" program.
