"Both The State Chamber Choir of Armenia and the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia has always been a partner of the Francophonie. And I thank them for dedicating this concert to us tonight, for the Francophonie, and for celebrating French culture, "said Jonathan Lacôte.
In his speech, the ambassador emphasized that Francophonie is the sharing of French as a common language. You can be a French speaker by birth, and in the case of Armenians, by heart. But in addition to language, Francophonie is also an attention to culture, a desire to protect our culture, but also to spread and share it. And that is exactly the tradition that the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia and the State Chamber Choir of Armenia do today. The ambassador emphasized that this concert is a beautiful gift to France.
