Mozart's "Requiem" was performed in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide
At midnight on April 23, Mozart's "Requiem" was performed at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide. The State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia (artistic director and principal conductor: Vahan Martirosyan) and the Hover State Chamber Choir (conductor: Sona Hovhannisyan) performed at the commemoration concert. Conductor: Alexander Iradyan, soloists: RA Honored Artist, soprano Irina Zakyan, mezzo-soprano Sofia Tumanyan, RA Honored Artist, tenor Hovhannes Ayvazyan, bass Ferdinand Muradyan.

"It was so expected for me to have this concert in Armenia. I wanted to "say" once again through Mozart's Requiem's ​​symbolic day that the ability and will to move forward with pain must always be the driving force ... I hope it worked out. I am looking forward to another experience with the native audience. I hope the opportunity to meet will not be too late," said conductor Alexander Iradyan.

The concert was initiated by the National Chamber Music Center with the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. The project manager was the producer Anush Kocharyan, the project manager was Felix Baburyan.
