“Each of us has a spiritual and emotional connection with the music of Tigran Mansuryan.” Zhanna Andreasyan
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan and Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan attended the “Symphonic Mansuryan” concert dedicated to the birthday of the famous composer Tigran Mansuryan at the “Aram Khachaturian” Concert Hall.

The concert program started with the national anthem of the Republic of Armenia, marking the Day of the Army of the Republic of Armenia. In her welcoming speech, Minister Zhanna Andreasyan congratulated the 34th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the 87th anniversary of Maestro Mansuryan, emphasizing that he is one of our most beloved composers.

“Each of us has a spiritual and emotional connection with the music of the maestro; his works are beloved to all of us, as their messages have accompanied us in different situations of life, and this is the powerful and unifying force of Mansuryan’s art. It is a rare phenomenon when brilliant art and human simplicity come together.

Dear maestro, this combination is a reality in your case, for which I want to express my special gratitude. Your simple, modest human attitude and presence also teach you how to live, leaving a great legacy,” the minister noted in her greeting speech to Mansuryan.

She also informed that the Tigran Mansuryan Cultural Center in Artik is being renovated with state support, which will provide an opportunity to form a new platform for the discovery and manifestation of talented children.

The “Symphonic Mansuryan” concert program featured Tigran Mansuryan’s music written for Armenian films and theatrical performances, performed by the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia (artistic director: Sergey Smbatyan, concert conductor: Tiran Nikoghosyan).
