Concert Tour of the P. Tchaikovsky School Chamber Orchestra in French Cities
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, the Chamber Orchestra of the Yerevan P. Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School performed a concert tour in the French cities of Valence, Lyon, Romans-sur-Isère, Grenoble, Marseille, and Nice from February 18 to March 3, receiving a warm welcome and high appreciation from audiences.
During the tour, the young musicians presented a concert program that included well-known works of world classical music, as well as compositions by Armenian composers.
Since 2014, the Armenian-French orchestra has been organizing exchange visits, holding joint concerts in various cities of France and Armenia. The program also includes masterclasses with Armenian and French specialists.
The concert tour aimed to showcase the high level of music education in Armenia, as well as to promote the development of Armenian-French cultural cooperation. French and Armenian young musicians also joined the orchestra. The joint concerts became an important platform for cultural dialogue, bringing together music lovers and creating new opportunities for collaboration.
