Armenian Genocide commemoration concert to be held on the initiative of ANPO
This year, on the initiative of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, a number of events dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide will be held in Yerevan and abroad. 

On this occasion, on April 23, with the support of the RA Ministry of ESCS,  Mozart's "Requiem" will be performed in Tsitsarnakaberd at night, which will be broadcast live on the Public Television of Armenia. Also, the same piece will be performed on April 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.

The soloists of the requiem all times are opera singer, soprano Anna Samuil, famous bass Tobias Berndt, mezzo-soprano Sofia Tumanyan and tenor Tigran Melkonyan.

The requiem will be performed by the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra (artistic director and principal conductor Eduard Topchjan) and the National Academic Choir (artistic director and principal conductor Hovhannes Tchekidjian). The concert will be led by renowned Austrian conductor Gunter Neuhold.

On April 23, with the support of the Ministry of ESCS, in collaboration with the Ontario Philharmonic Orchestra of Almazian Productions, a concert in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide will be held at the Regent Theater Oshawa in Canada.
