Ashugh Jivani's heritage to be digitalized
A cooperation agreement was signed between Yeghishe Charents Museum of Literature and Art and Poghos Harutyunyan, American-Armenian philanthropist, businessman, producer, founder and head of SKYFIST studio. According to the agreement, Harutyunyan, who is a linear descendant of Ashugh Jivani, will support the digitization of Jivani's heritage. In particular, within the cooperation, a scanner was purchased for the museum in order to scan the archival materials of Ashugh Jivani and preserve them for future generations.
The museum stores Jivani's handwritten legacy: autographed notebooks of poems, letters from the school, and even contracts with publishing houses regarding the publication of Jivani's works.
