The opera theater can become a model for other institutions as well. Zhanna Andreasyan
Zhanna Andreasyan, RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, welcomed director and conductor Karen Durgaryan to the team of the A. Spendiarian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet.
In welcoming the attendees, the minister said the meeting with the theater's workers is critical because the opera house is one of the structures that requires constant care and attention.
According to the minister, there is no need to introduce Karen Durgaryan and his activities because the maestro has served in this position in recent years. "The competition for the theater's director has concluded, and I believe that with this legal status, we will have a clearer perspective on the theater's development." Changes that we have noticed in recent years have served as the foundation for us to create new programs for theater development. It is worth noting that the opera house was the first cultural organization to try the new funding model. Taking into mind the theater's performance, quality, and financial data, this exam was possible. The works performed are the result of the combined efforts of the entire theater staff, led by Mr. Durgaryan, for which I am grateful."
Zhanna Andreasyan noted that the public's positive reaction to the opera theater's initiatives and performances is frequently heard. "The opera theater can lead the industry, that is, show the way and serve as a model for other institutions." We can make theater more entertaining, of higher quality, and desired by the audience. We saw crowded halls here. This result enables us to explore a new finance model in the opera house, which will provide an opportunity to improve the theater's circumstances. I am confident that this work will continue and that we will achieve additional victories."
The minister wished the theater's director, Karen Durgaryan, success in his work with the crew and stated that the government will always be by the opera house's side to solve all problems.
