Number of Dancers awarded state prizes
On the occasion of International Dance Day, a concert entitled "Dancers' Day for Dancers" took place at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. Spendiaryan.
The concert was attended by RA ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan, and other officials.
The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Armenia and Yerevan Municipality honored several people for their important contributions to the development of the field of dance with medals and diplomas.
Minister Zhanna Andreasyan congratulated the devotees on their professional holiday and noted that dancing provides an artistic perspective on the world, which is particularly significant for children's education and growth. The minister underlined that International Dance Day is an additional opportunity to celebrate the outstanding job that dance artists accomplish daily.
"It's a wonderful talent that should be acknowledged to be able to perform on stage every day and elicit love and emotion from the audience. I'm confident that our tiny gesture of thanks and appreciation will make you cherish your effort even more and inspire you to keep going and succeed greatly," Zhanna Andreasyan added.
