Festival dedicated to renowned organist Vahagn Staboltsyan to be held in Yerevan
With the support of the RA Ministry of Education and Culture and the National Center for Chamber Music initiative, an international organ festival named after Vahagn Stamboltsyan will be held in Armenia from September 26 to November 6.

During the festival, 12 concert programs will be held in Yerevan, Kapan and Charentsavan. Internationally renowned organists  Fabio Machera (Italy), Evgeny Avramenko (Russia), Jean-Pierre Stivers (Netherlands), Lada Labzina (Russia), and Emmanuel Arakelyan (France) will perform at the festival. They will also hold master classes. The Armenian organ school will be represented by Anna Bakunts, Karine Hovhannisyan, Harutyun Tagvoryan, Tereza  Վօskanyan, Hovhannes Manukyan, Armen Aghajanyan, Davit Hovhannisyan, Lusin Sarajyan, Lusine Harutyunyan, Vahagn Margaryan and Marina Nahapetyan.

Both classical works and organ arrangements of Armenian musical gems and organ works by Armenian composers will be played. The festival program also includes concerts dedicated to Komitas and Mikael Tariverdiev.
