Gagik Khachaturyan: The guy who reached higher
5 months after the war, the body of opera singer Gagik Khachaturyan was found. For 5 months everyone was waiting for his return but unfortunately, a miracle didn't happen.
Gagik Khachaturyan was born in Tbilisi. His family decided to repatriate because they thought that an Armenian should live in Armenia and should be a citizen of their homeland. After graduating from the YerevanKomitas State Conservatory, he joined military service in Mekhakavan (Artsakh); he should've been demobilized in 2021. Speaking about Artsakh, Gagik was always saying that this land has a different power and was even joking that he must open a branch of the Conservatory and stay there.
Gagik's dream was to reach all the heights of music, but, as it is said in the famous poem, he reached higher.
